The story of Filigrana began in 2025, but its roots go much deeper.

The brand was born in the family-owned Patora company, which has specialised in woodworking since 1983. For over four decades the company has gained experience working with demanding clients and supplying wooden products and components to many respected brands. This is where knowledge of the material is passed down from generation to generation, and craftsmanship meets the possibilities of modern technology.

Filigrana grew out of the more artistic side of this tradition — Patora Art. Out of the need to create not only perfectly made components, but also objects with their own character, form and story.

The originator, designer and creative director of Filigrana is Wojciech Mierzwa. His studio gave rise to the brand concept, its first collection and its visual language. Wojciech is responsible for product design, the choice of forms, colours and materials, as well as the overall image and curatorial direction of Filigrana.

Every design is the result of two worlds meeting: fresh, contemporary design and over forty years of experience in working with wood. Wojciech’s original ideas take material shape thanks to the knowledge and skills of the Patora team — people who understand wood, its natural variability and its potential.

This is how objects are made that are filigree not only in name: visually light, refined in every detail and made with exceptional care. Designed so that a small form can clearly change the character of an interior.

Filigrana is a young brand built on a mature foundation. It combines the designer’s original vision, family craftsmanship and Polish manufacturing — from the first sketch to the finished object.
